FERROCENTO® ACT

Ferrocento® ACT is a food supplement based on Iron, Folic Acid and Vitamin C, useful in case of increased need or reduced intake with the diet of these nutrients, in particular for women of childbearing age, pregnant and lactating.

Ferrocento® ACT contains SunActive® Fe, a particular microencapsulated iron salt with high bioavailability, tasteless, pleasant to take and without unpleasant aftertastes, and Quatrefolic®, Folic Acid in its biologically active form.

Supplemental intake of Folic Acid increases the state of maternal folate. A low state of maternal folate is in fact a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus. Vitamin C increases the absorption of iron.
